Before you start
Welcome to the guide for deploying DataClarity on Azure using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates! Before you begin the deployment process, there are some important prerequisites and considerations to keep in mind. Following these guidelines will help ensure a smooth deployment experience.
Prerequisites
Before you proceed with the deployment, make sure you have the following prerequisites in place:
-
DataClarity Account. You need an active DataClarity account. If you don't have one, you can create a DataClarity account before proceeding.
-
Azure Subscription: You need an active Azure subscription to deploy resources using Azure Resource Manager templates. If you do not have an Azure subscription, you can create an Azure account before proceeding.
-
Basic Knowledge of Azure Services: Familiarize yourself with Azure services that will be used in the deployment, such as Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Resource Manager itself. Understanding these services will enable you to make informed decisions during the deployment.
-
Networking Considerations: Determine the network configuration for your platform. This includes VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) settings, subnets, security groups, and any necessary connectivity requirements. Ensure that the networking setup aligns with your platform's needs.
-
Networking Considerations: Determine the network configuration for your platform. This includes Azure Virtual Network (VNet) settings, subnets, network security groups, and any necessary connectivity requirements. Ensure that the networking setup aligns with your platform's needs.
-
Azure Template: Obtain the Azure Resource Manager (ARM) template specific to the DataClarity. This template defines the Azure resources required for deployment. To access the template, go to Deploy in Azure using ARM Templates (Docker Compose) article.
