You can add an identity provider by importing its configuration data. The configuration data can be imported from a URL or from an XML file.

  1. On the left sidebar, click Identity Providers.
  2. In the dropdown list, select the authentication protocol. You can select SAML v2.0 or OpenID Connect v1.0.

The configuration page for the identity provider opens.

  3. In the Import External IDP Config section, perform one of the following actions:
    • Add the URL that points to the configuration data of the identity provider. Depending on the authentication protocol, the configuration data are available as a SAML entity descriptor or as OpenID Provider Metadata.
    • Click Select file, and then open a configuration file.
  4. Click Save.

The identity provider is configured and added to the list of identity providers.
