Permissions – AI connections
The permissions needed for activities related to 
AI connections depend on whether you work with your own or shared connections:
My connections – Require only role permissions granted by administrator in Access Manager.
Shared connections – Requires both types of permissions:
Role permissions that are granted by administrator in Access Manager.
Shared content permissions that are granted by the user who shares a connection.
Permissions per action
Review the following activity groups and see which role permissions and shared content permissions you need for each action.

Examples
Review the following examples to understand how role permissions and shared content permissions influence which menu items are available.
Example – Sharing an AI connection with the “View” content permissionUser 1 shares an AI connection with User 2 and grants only the View content permission.
User 2 has the following role permissions:
dataprep.access
dataprep.ai-connection.create
dataprep.ai-connection.set-permissions
dataprep.ai-connection.certify.
User 2 receives the AI connection on the Shared with me tab. User 2 can only add private tags, change color, set favorite, and remove the connection from the User’s 2 list.
User 2 can create a new AI connection and manage it according to the assigned role permissions (for example, edit, share, or certify it).
Example – Sharing an AI connection with all the content permissionsUser 1 shares an AI connection with User 2 and grants all the content permissions (View, Duplicate, Edit, Share, and Set permission).
User 2 has dataprep.access and dataprep.ai-connection.create.
User 2 receives the AI connection on the Shared with me tab. User 2 can view and manage the shared AI connection except sharing and certifying (because User 2 does not have the dataprep.ai-connection.set-permissions permission and the dataprep.ai-connection.certify permission.)
