With the Python widget, you can add a Python script and execute it on the storyboard page.
On the data tab, click manage python code, and insert the script in the editor. To preview the code results, click Execute. To save the code in the widget, click Save.
If you do not want to run the code when your storyboard is in Edit mode, turn on Execute in View mode only. This way, switching to View mode triggers the code execution. Otherwise, the code is executed after clicking Apply at the bottom of the widget settings pane.
On the appearance tab, you can specify whether the widget is initially visible or hidden when the page is opened or refreshed.
