Create a guided analytic path
Prerequisites
- The Guide feature is enabled in the Application Settings dialog. For details, see Enable features.
- You added a report to the application. For details, see Add content to application.
Procedure
- On the Designer welcome page, point to an application, and then click Edit.

On the application sidebar, click
Guide.
The Guide pane appears.

Edit the default node:
- Select the node labeled Guide.
- Edit the label and description of the node.
- Click
to save the description.

Add a new node:

Select an existing node, and then click
Add node.
A new node is added under the selected node.
Under any node, you can add as many nodes as you want.
- Edit the label and description of the new node.
- Click
to save the description.

Add a report to a path:
- Select a node, and then click
Add report.
- Next to Report Path, click Browse, navigate to the report, and then click Select.
- Edit the label and description of the report.

Click
to save the description.
Under any node, you can add as many reports as you want.
- Select a node, and then click
- In the pane, click
Save.

On the menu bar, go to File > Save. Enter a description of your changes, and then click Save. Then, click Close.
To make the changes available to consumers, publish the application (File > Save and Publish).
