Step 4. Activate DataClarity (for Premium only)

To access the DataClarity platform, you first obtain the license script and activate it (for Premium products). Then, create a list of users and assign the appropriate role(s) to them.

  1. Log in to Access Manager at http://hostname/auth with the default credentials admin / admin.

  2. Activate the license:

    1. On the left sidebar, click Licenses.

    2. Click Upload license script, paste the script, and click Submit.

      Wait for the message that confirms the license activation, and then review the updated license information.

  3. Use the admin user to test access to the platform, by assigning the Consumer role to this user:

    1. On the left sidebar, click Users.

    2. Click View all users.

    3. Click the link in the ID column for the admin user.

    4. Go to the Roles tab.

    5. Select the Consumer role in the Available Roles section, and then click Add.

      The role is moved to the Assigned Roles section.

  4. If needed, create additional local users or use an external authentication provider to federate them. For details, see Access Manager Online Help.

  5. Log in to the DataClarity platform at http://hostname/home, with the default credentials admin / admin.
